Bee Gees - Heartbreaker Lyrics

I made a living out of lovin' you

Only to discover any dream that i follow is dying

I'm crying in the rain

I could be searchin' my existence for a love everlasting

I'm feeling no trouble when will we see again?

And why do you get to be a heartbreaker?

Is it a moral that i never knew

Got to get out of the while that i'm under

My passion for you

Why do you get to be a heartbreaker?

When i was bein' what you wish me to be

Suddenly alwaysythin' i ever wanted has passed me by

This man may end not you and i

My beloved is stronger than the universe

My person is cryin' for you it cannot be reversed

You made the rules but you could not see

You made a living out of hurtin' me

Out of my mind

I am held by the force of your love

Tell me when do we try?

Why should we say goodbye?

Why do you get to be a heart heartbreaker?

Is it a moral that i never knew

Got to get out of the while that i'm under

My passion for you

Why do you get to be a heartbreaker?

Is it a moral that i never knew

Got to get out of the while that i'm under

My passion for you my bed my love

Why do you get to be a heart heartbreaker?

When i was bein' what you wish me to be

Suddenly alwaysythin' i ever wanted has passed me by

My bed my passion has passed me by

Why do you get to be a heart heartbreaker?

Is it a moral that i never never knew

010 inductees in the U.S. National Film Registry

The National Film Registry is the name of films preserved by the U.S. government at the Library of Congress. Around the end of each year, the Library selects 25 inductees that are culturally or artistically significant to the U.S. The next is this year's list, bringing the sum to about 525 films. The "films" can be feature films, short films, student films, even home movies (Disneyland Dream, the home movies of a family's trip to California in the fifties is one of the 525).

Reviews by Request: 'Breakfast in America' by Supertramp .

truth. But I give to experience things my own way, to maintain me in my youth." Other highlights: "Breakfast in America", "The Logical Song", "Take the Long Way Home" Lowlight: "Casual Conversations" (A song even Billy Joel would be mortified to put on one of his better albums) For fans of: the Bee Gees, Rush, Queen, Styx, Head East, Frankie Valli

Track-by-track score: 4.13/5 (82%) Album cover score: 3.5/5 Album title score: 3.5/5 Opening track score: "Gone Hollywood" - 4/5 Closing track score: "Child of Vision" - 3.25 (Too long and gaudy)

For a lot that formerly had a bit one album (this one) and a healthy handful of pure pop hits (including one of the better of all-time, "Goodbye Stranger"), you don`t see a whole lot about Supertramp. I`m not sure exactly why that is. I`m sure they were talked about a lot more when this album came out, but I was 3 at the time, so I don`t remember. But one thing is clear. From what I`ve gathered over the years, this is their most easily known album and it`s most likely their best. They are likewise the rare UK outfit that appear to have been a lot more popular here than they are there.

If I had to get one estimate as to why Supertramp doesn`t necessarily fall to listen when you consider of the best classic rock bands of all-time, I`d say that they probably came round a little too late. By the sentence they were in their prime-the mid-to-late 70s-most of their would-be counterparts had either disbanded or were near to and the music man was shifting. By the sentence the early 80s hit, the bulk of stone being played on top 40 radio wasn`t rock at all, but a pale imitation. But this album stands on its own as a brilliant display of what Supertramp were and what they were subject of. Maybe if they spent less time bitching with each other and more time continuing to perfect pop music, they`d be remembered among the greatest bands of all time, but regardless, this is a landmark album.

I had ever loved the 4 songs from this album that I was intimate with, but had never heard the book in full until now and other than a few misfires, the album does not disappoint. The best songs are however the ones you`ve probably already heard, but nonetheless, Breakfast in America is a passionately theatrical, jumpy, good time, pop classic.

If you`re a fan of the band, you already get this. If you care what you`ve heard and are peculiar to discover more, definitely get it. The just thing that stops this from being a masterpiece are 3 or so mediocre songs.

Rock On Vinyl: The Bee Gees - Live at Festival Hall, Melbourne (1971)

was filmed for an Australian television special, and the hour-long black-and-white program is also usable on DVD.For this show, Robin Gibb, Barry Gibb, and Maurice Gibb - Barry and Maurice playing guitar and piano, though Robin just sang - were backed by a guitarist (Geoff Bridgeford) and drummer, as good as a full orchestra. This helped them create arrangements about as good as those heard on the Bee Gees' late-'60s/early-'70s records, and though the sound wasn't perfect (sometimes the vocals are softer than they should be), it's a jolly good operation that accents their most popular material of the era.Every one of their big 1967-1971 hits ("New York Mining Disaster 1941," "To Know Somebody," "Holiday," "Words," "How Can You Repair a Broken Heart," "I Started a Joke," "Massachusetts," "I've Gotta Get a Substance to You," and "Lonely Days") is here, lending the appearance something of a greatest-hits air. A few other songs from the era are included as well, "I Can't See Nobody" being a highlight, and the blue-eyed-soul tune "Lay It on Me" - the just one to feature Maurice Gibb on lead vocals - being the least impressive. Robin Gibb and Barry Gibb are the main lead singers otherwise, though three-part harmonies are naturally often a feature. The on-stage patter and joking isn't very interesting or dynamic, but the performances are good. It's surely a concert that should be issued officially as it's a good and representative encapsulation of the voice for which the Bee Gees first became internationally famous. This is the start sentence the grouping as a solid has returned to Australia since they left for England 4 years ago.Accompanying them on their turn will be ten British musicians and their musical arranger, Australian born, Bill Shepherd. It is believed that the group will be backed by a thirty-piece orchestra."- Go-Set 19 June 1971."The Bee Gees were being considered for an Australian tour by several promoters, but all but one backed out because the danger was too high. Now the Bee Gees are here they have packed every concert and brought every audience to their feet for a standing ovation! In Sydney and Canberra the crowds leapt from their seats and shouted for more. Canberrites have seldom been known to record such overwhelming enthusiasm for a visiting act of any sort. Music Review: Procol Harum - Something Magic - Blogcritics Music

In 2007 the Salvo Records reissue label began releasing upgraded editions of all ten albums Procol Harum produced during their first ten years, concluding with Something Magic, from 1977, the band`s last work together until The Prodigal Stranger, in 1991. Like their renewal of the similarly underappreciated catalog by The Move, Salvo did a commendable restoration of Procol`s music, including a two disc best-of anthology, Secrets of the Hive, and a 4 disc box, All This and More.

Behold the Bee Gees

Let's begin by saying that I observed this picture on a nostalgia site I'm known to frequent (a Speck of Tuesday Weld). (Sadly, while this picture is labeled "good sound," the picture quality suffers from pixellation if you embiggen it.As Ms Linger describes it, "This song suffers from the same ailment that so many others of its era did: Greg Ham Syndrome.

Bee Gees Music Photos: Music DVD Review: Bee Gees: In Our Own Time .

In a career as broad and artistically diverse as that of the Bee Gees, perhaps the one prevailing theme has been the group`s near-prodigious ability to compose songs that are both of their time and timeless. It's what makes classics like "To Know Somebody," "Massachusetts," and "How Deep Is Your Love" appear as critical and moving today as when they were originally released.

REVIEW: NEW BEE GEES “IN OUR OWN TIME” DOCUMENTARY

Depending on the age of a person, their perception of The Bee Gees is abit different. The eras of the band shift sonically from their originsin 60′s pop and vocal harmonizing, to the epic grandeur, and some mightsay, bombast, of the previous 70′s disco period, toward the future, andtheir ability to stay a thrust with incredible draw and melodicmainstream hits.
