Rooftop Reviews: "The Ultimate Bee Gees"

I was never much of a Bee Gees fan, beyond their early hits such as "I've Gotta Get A Substance to You", "New York Mining Disaster 1941" and the other early pop hits recorded between 1967 and 1972. Of line they scored a super crossover with "To Know Somebody", a large song by the Bee Gees, but a very blues experience in the men of Janis Joplin, who had the power to have any song and do it her own.

Poster Picks (and Bonus Movie Review): The Runaways at L o b a B .

I don`t often review movies here at the lair beyond what I`ve been reviewing through my DVDregs project (which I haven`t forgotten about; I just choose to pass more time reading books than watching movies). I also feel that most movies that number down the Hollywood pipeline are such disappointments that I call very small from the film world anymore.

I was, however, greatly anticipating The Runaways.

snaps - Mihal Freinquel: Mom's Wonder Years

I believe this video evokes something in almost everybody in my generation.and their parents:The Wonder Years aired 1988-1993, but was set in 1968-1973 (each season took place 20 days before the year it was actually airing). It was a big show because it appealed to kids and adults. Kids loved it because it dealt with typical teenage issues - school, love, friends - through the eyes of the principal character, Kevin.
